The project includes structural plans, foundation layouts, and roof layouts. Structural elements such as steel beams, roof structures, floor structures, bearings, and padstones are designed in accordance with structural engineer's calculations and details. The design incorporates steel beams (SB01-SB06) of various specifications. Fire protection for steel is addressed by encasing new steel beams in 12.5 Gyproc Fireline board or using Nullifires or similar intumescent paint to provide the required fire resistance. Existing structures, including foundations, beams, walls, and lintels, will be checked for adequacy prior to work commencement, as required by the Building Control Officer.
